Thisis a genuine, highly collectible, hard to find, \"QXM329NRH Melodies in Motion\" animated wall clock that was produced about 15 years ago by \"Seiko,\" one of the finest clock makers inhistory!This is an animated musical clock designed with a rotating crown with a Maestro and 3 musicians on the lower part of the case. The clock is oval shaped and measures about 17\" or so high, about 4\" or so deep, and about 10 1/2\" wide. It captures all the attention around here at the top of the hour. Have a look in both sound and lookscourtesy of Daily style=\"\">The case is trimmed in goldtone and black and there is a clear glass crystal inset over the dial and it\'s trimmed with goldtone accents; no cracks or chips or signs of wear that I can see. There is brass trim on the outer dial and a soft goldtone center to the dial. The chapter ring has a white backdrop and features large, fancy arabic numerals to mark the hours and matching ornate hands to point out the time. The word, \"Seiko\" appears in their block letter logo just below the 12 o\'clock position. There is a stage opening below the dial with a goldtone drape and bright shiny brasstone musicians on either side of a musical score below the drape. There is a mirror as well behind the rotating pendulum. The back is fully intact as shown and the battery case cover is present as well; takes four AA batteries to operate. The time setting knob is located here as well. There is also a knob that allows you to change the volume and a switch with options to select On/Off. There is also a switch to turn on the rotating pendulum or turn it off. This clock is impressive on its own merit but really comes alive at the topof the hour with music! At that time, the clock plays one of seven tunes in very high quality, Hi-Fi Sound that include: Stardust; When You Wish Upon a Star; An der Schonen Blauen Donau; Yesterday Once More; Memory; Waltz of the Flowers, and Moon River;absolutely fascinating! The song titles are listed just below the dial center in calligraphic script. The clock is very impressive in any number of ways and the music is fabulous. The demonstration button on the front does play songs when the button is pressed which is a great feature, especially if you want to show off your clock to friends or family before the top of the hour. It has a nighttime feature that automatically silences the music at night which is nice as well for light sleepers or when company is in town. The clock works quite well, keeps good time, and the music is heavenly. It shows very little if any wear and is just stunning on display!
