This listing is for a large c.1870 Tintype of a "Happy Couple." He is suited out in a stylish Edwardian frock coat or perhaps, it is his old Civil War jacket? Pinstripe trousers complete the look. The wife is conservatively dressed and appears to have Grave's Disease, the thyroid eye condition. Wish I knew the story behind this marriage. Measures: 5 x 7 inches. Please see photographs for condition. A large tintype for your collection.
