RARE Antique 1830s SET of 6 MASON\'S IRONSTONE Oriental CHINOISERIE Plates PLATE:

This very rare antique set of 6 Masons Patent Ironstone dinner plates each measure approximately 10 1/8\" diameter. They are an unusual Oriental-Chinoiserie style pattern and are all hand decorated with scalloped edges. Based upon the backstamp, they date to the 1830s-40s. To have had one plate survive in this condition would be amazing, but to have 6 all in the same pattern is quite remarkable! They are all in very good condition considering their age. They do have some imperfections that were clearly done in the making of these plates as evidenced by the decoration being applied by the artists over the imperfections. Three of them also have some small chips to the back bottom of the plate. This just adds to the charm and character of this set. This has all been photographed for you to view.
