Antique circa 1916 Attributed to Bradley & Hubbard Cast Iron Squirrel Nutcracker with Wood Bowl in excellent condition. The 9 inch Cast Iron Nutcracker features an Oak Tree Handle with a Squirrel on top.
The Cast Iron Squirrel Nut Cracker is finished to look like brass. It is attached to a wooden bowl. The bowl is in amazing condition especially for its age. NO cracks, NO repairs. The spring that operates the Nutcracker still has a lot action. Works as it should....
The bowl wood was identified as Walnut, but I have no way of verifying.
I can find NO Makers Mark, or Hallmark. NO markings at all.
This is really a very nice example and would be hard to find a nicer one.
Attributed to Bradley & Hubbard... I cannot find a Makers Mark. ALL of the research shows that this is a Bradley & Hubbard Nutcracker, but it is NOT Marked.
The Wood Bowl is 8-1/4 inches wide, by 2-3/4 inches top to bottom.
