SHELL INFORMATION
TYPE - Arc Shell. AGE - Approximately 3 million years old, Pliocene era. LOCATION FOUND - Central Florida Bone Valley area. COLOR - Blue , beige, white. SIZE - 2. 5/8 x 2. 1/4 inches.
This shell was found at a dig site in Central Florida in an area known as Bone Valley. Shells from this area are known as * BONE VALLEY BLUES * because of their incredible color combinations which usually have shades of blue mixed in.
This shell is coated with a thin layer of high quality clear topcoat to preserve and bring back the original colors of the shell. The photos are close as possible to the original colors although some variations may occur such as blues looking gray in the photos.
