Up for sale is a ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL VERY RARE Large antique German Volkstedt Rudolstadt Porcelain figurine of 2 men, a woman and a cherub in a garden. This stunning piece stands an impressive 12 inches tall and approximately 8 inches wide. The beautiful lady is wearing a floral dress which has severaldelicate applied porcelain flowers. She is standing by a pedistal. One of the gentleman is wearing a dark blue toga and placing a wreath of applied porcelain flowers on the ladies head. The other gentleman is wearing a green toga with yellow accents. He is reaching across the pedistal to the lady. The cherub is standing on top of the pedistal holding a delicate applied porcelain rose. There are applied porcelain flowers cascading down the pedistal onto the base. They have PERFECT OUTSTRETCHED arms and fingers. This figurine is made of solid porcelain. This piece has the Volkstedt mark on the back of the base. It says made in Germany on the bottom of the base. It is from my parents private collection and is in OUTSTANDING CONDITION! The only tiny chip I see is a missing leaf on one of the roses ....see pic 22. I do not see any other chips, cracks or repairs. This piece has so many beautiful components and flowers I personally cannot see any chips but PLEASE review all of the pictures because they are part of the description and you can make your own decision.
