For sale is a very rare Magic Power Co. Boris the Butler talking Halloween prop. When the button on the sleeve is pressed, the prop says a eerievoice line. The arms are thick wire and can be posed and positioned. The only other one of these on the market is marked as a prototype, which only shakes and mumbles when activated. This edition of the prop says distinct voice lines when activated, with jaw movements to match the speech. Unfortunately the jaw is not working, it does not move at all when the voice lines are being played. This may be due to a wire disconnectingor another electrical issue. There also appears to be staining on the shirt and collar, but that may be intentional as part of the design. Please refer to pictures, sold as-is.
To reiterate: SOLD AS-IS, I ONLY GUARENTEETHE VOICE AND MOTION SENSORS WORK. THE MOUTH IS NOT MOVING WHEN THE PROP IS TALKING AND LIKELY NEEDS REPAIR. PLEASE BE PREPAIRED TO REPAIR THE UNIT IF NECESSARY.
As mentioned this prop is very rare, no copies (apart from the prototype) have been listed or sold here on over the last 3 years (based on Terrapeak Research archived sold comps). A serious collector of Halloween props on YouTube mentions in their description that less than 300 copies of this prop were produced. The animatronic has been partially disassembledfor efficiency while shipping. It has been taken apart where the torso connects to the legs, and the candy bowl has been detached. 3 screws were all that were removed to split these sections up, no wires or complex parts have been altered. The 3 screws are sealed in a baggy and taped to the bowl to ensure they are easy to find for the buyer. Reattaching these parts is very simple.
