There appears there was work done on the inside on the latch, with some glue. I will show in the last photo. There are a couple of spots on the actual box that wont buff out. Shown in the 2 photos before the last. It looks like finger print smudges. The bow part also will not buff out. It closes well. I do not know if it is silver plated or not.
