RARE Mid 20th Century Mexican Art Ceremonial Carved Wood Donkey Mask AS IS READ!. Really incredible Mexican folk-art mask! Hand carved, and hand painted. This is a very primitive old piece and does have a lot of wear due to its age. I tried to point out some of the more noticeable condition issues in the last 3 photos of the photo gallery. The most noticeable is a crack, and possible repair, on the left side ear (if looking at the mast from the front). I cannot confirm but am almost certain this mask was carved/constructed from coconut shells (very lightweight). This would make an excellent addition to a wall art collection. Please review all pictures in the photo gallery prior to making your buying decision.
Dimensions: Approximately 15 1/2" long x 9 3/4" wide (from ear to ear).
