This listing is for a RARE NICE Vintage Alec Tri Pup Figural Dog Extension Cord Splitter 1930s WORKS. It is a Vintage old extension cord / 3 plug adapter in the shape of an adorable begging dog. Made of porcelain/ ceramic in a Ivory base with hand painted brown accents. The accents usually are well faded- this ones are in GREAT shape. It is a great idea for lamp collectors to display their prized lighting with. This dog is sometimes called a Pekinese, and also a King George Spaniel. An excellent item for collectors of lighting / electronics, dog lovers, gifting, display/ decor, and more!

I have lightly tested this unit, it works and provides power, however it also makes a few crackly noises. I did not leave it plugged in for a long time, but felt no excess heat or electrical smells. It appears to be all completely original in terms of wiring. If intended to be used often, I recommend a full re-wire for safetys sake. I have not tried to do any re-wiring myself. If you are purchasing for display only, I encourage you to keep it all original, for the look. I take no responsibility for the use if or vintage original wiring of this unit.
