This is for an EXTREMELY RARE ORIGINAL 1950s Service Mfg. Co. USAF M13 Aircrewman holster/sling which was produced for the United States Air Force.
The slings originally came with two different versions of the holster. The two inch version was intended to carry the Colt and Smith & Wesson .38 special Aircrewman revolvers. The four inch version was intended for the Smith & Wesson .38 special revolvers with fixed sights.
This particular sling came with the two inch version holster, which is also included in the sale!

Lee Harvey Oswald used a sling exactly like this on his 6.5 carcano rifle that he used to assassinate President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas.
