These Flight Surgeon Wings were produced in two forms by Vanguard - one in Brass/Gilt and the other in Sterling/Gold Gilt. This is the much, much harder to find Sterling/Gold Gilt version. It is a full-size uniform badge/wing and measures 2 3/4\". They have NOT been cleaned, and look as if they have 75+ years of natural patina on them. They show only very minimal signs of use/wear, and if cleaned would certainly show a mirrored finish. I do not see any defects on this wing, and the original drop in catch opens and closes as originally intended.Buy from us with confidence.
