Offered is an original World War Two production sling manufactured for the M1 Carbine rifle. This olive drab sling is unissued and remains in its original wrapper. Quite desirably, it is maker marked S.M. Co. and dated 1944. This sling, together with its original wrapper, is offered exactly as pictured. With repros and fakes abounding, original World War Two slings have become more and more difficult to find. As many as I have—and have had—this is the only new old stock in its original wrapper M1 Carbine sling I have owned. And it will likely be the only one I own, as I do not expect to be able to replace it. A very rare, desirable sling for your carbine or for your sling collection.
