A very nice scarce example of a 2 piece United States Voltigeur's coat button of the pre Civil War period. Albert# VG-2-A. This example has a backmark that reads RMDC " SCOVILLS & CO . WATERBURY . ". Button measures 19.73mm. Button has traces of its original gilded finish. See photos for condition details.
