This wonderful old example looks complete and then some ( although the instruction sheet looks like a copy ) in that it has the noted :

6 wand shells

1 regular wand

I imitation wand

Plus there is another \" pull a-part \" wand device contraption. I am not a magician so I dare not speculate on its use. Please take a close look at all photos. I tried to capture everything.

The original cardboard box is in fantastic condition for its age. It does have some ancient tape still affixed, ( see photos) but it looks to be original. The graphics on the box are clear and display quite well.

John A. Petrie was born in 1870 in Connecticut. He was a skilled craftsman and innovator. Petrie opened the John Petrie Magical Company in 1894, manufacturing unique and extremely well-made items for magicians. He eventually teamed up with A. C. Gilbert and formed the Mysto Magic Company. In 1909, Thomas Lewis, a wealthy

businessman and magician, befriended the struggling Petrie. Lewis provided financial backing for Petrie and as the Petrie-Lewis Manufacturing Company grew, magical apparatus became the focus of the company.
