RARE Takara 2003 Astro Boy Toy Figure with Sound Effects:

Rare hard-to-find Astro Boy electronic toy figure with joints that bend, rockets that pop out of his feet, and an energy source panel in his chest that triggers sound effects when pressed. Measures around 9” from the tip of his pointy hair to the bottom of his boots. “Takara 2003 Made in China” and “Tezuka Productions SPEJ” are printed on the back.

This has been played with so there are definite signs of usage including scratches, scuffmarks, and some paint coming off. I tried testing out the sound effects (when pressing the little button on his heart) but I’m not sure if the Japanese phrases and sound effects are coming out consistently or if they sound as they’re supposed to since I didn’t try it out when we first got it brand new. No other parts, pieces, paperwork or box are included.

I'm including two generic AAA batteries, but you will have to get new batteries.
