Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Rare vintage figural advertising copper plated paperweight. Dates to the Mid Century around the 1950s to 1960s. It has the "Little Joe Curtis" figure logo that started around 1950. It is a heavy copper plated spelter paperweight. Nice detailed figure carrying paper and " Curtis Paper Company" name on bottom. The Curtis Paper company operated roughly from 1789-1998 under several owners in Newark Delaware. This is a hard to find figural paperweight advertising the company. Very good condition for age. Copper is in very good shape with only minor wear in areas. Some dust in corners will be noticed. Bottom felt is worn. I haven't found another example. Rare Beautiful copper figural paperweight. Measures about 5 1)2" tall , base is about 3 3/8" tall. Heavy for size. Look at pics as they are considered part of description. Selling as pictured (paperweight only).
