This is an original RARE! WW 1 US Army Soldiers 1918 Mess Kit With 1917 dated Knife & 1918 dated Fork & No Date Spoon. It includes the flat top and the fold out handle pan bottom. The knife also has C.C.C. scratched into it which stands for the Civilian Conservation Corps.The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), established by Congress on March 31, 1933, provided jobs for young, unemployed men during the Great Depression.
