Welcome to my listing for a delightful rarity -- a 1968 greeting card with artwork (and lettering) by the inimitable Robert Crumb! The card was published by the American Greetings Corp. of Cleveland Ohio as part of its humorous Hi-Brows line. It\'s a \"belated birthday\" card, featuring a cranky-looking older lady on the front with the words \"This is a very naughty card.\"The card is unused, in the sense that it has not been written on; it\'s clean, smooth, uncreased, unstained, but might show a trace of handling wear from the 50-plus years it spent, somewhere, before I found it. It comes with a right-sized envelope, though I have no idea whether that\'s the original envelope it was issued with. The card measures just under 9\" tall and just under 4\" wide. An ephemeral item in every sense, this scarce greeting card is a must-have for the Crumb collector!
