Unusual and attractive \"Antique Royal Bayreuth German Hand-painted \"Craftsman Design\" Porcelain Creamer.\" Made in Bavaria, Germany.
This amazing ”German Creamer\" is hand-painted in greens and browns, Painted on the center has the scene of a craftsman, smoking his pipe, busy at his work. In the background is a typical German grated window.
The creamer is approx. 3-3/4\" tall, and the diameter is about 2 inches (not including the spout.) On the bottom is the Mark of the manufacturer, and you can see it in the 5th photo. This is an older version of the Royal Bayreuth Mark. This outstanding and unique, \"Hand-painted Pitcher\" is in fair to good condition. There are no chips or flaws to the rim, handle or base. The gold-gilt on the base is worn, and a section of creamer broke previously and was repaired. Who ever did the repair job knew what they were doing, because it was repaired very well, and is barely obvious. There are a couple other cracks as well … so minor that they are barely noticeable. This is typical of a product of this age. They do not affect the integrity of the creamer. Please see all the photos above to confirm the condition of this Royal Bayreuth Creamer.
