A set of three RPPC postcards, all sent to the Van Black family Springport, MI. The first two are postmarked from Los Angeles and feature the World Panama Expo cancellation. These two cards have a 1914 postmark with a 1915 cancellation. Cards are from back home in \"Old Michigan\". Card 3 is postmarked 1915 from Lansing.
Card 1 shows a young man/boy on a water sled/slide with a man and woman in a row boat.Addressed to: Jennie Van Black Springport, MichiganMessage reads: \"5-9-14 Los Angeles, Cal. Yes, the two cards you sent looks like home to me but I have enjoyed myself every minute since I left Old Michigan. These cars I am sending Bennie took when they were up to my place last summer. I am going to send you some California pictures some-day,.\"
Card 2 shows 2 men and a boy swimming with the rowboat beside them.Addressed to: C. E. Vay (?) Black Springport, MichiganMessage reads: \"Los Angeles. Your card just received. Was glad to hear everything is all o.k. with you. I have been having the time of life. We were two weeks coming through. Card 3 shows a lake side view with homes in the background. Card is unidentified but sent to the same family.Addressed to: Mrs C. E. Van Black Springport, MichMessage reads: Dear Jennie, Your plans are o.k. and we will be with you a week from to-day on afternoon train if nothing happens. Bushels of love Grace\"
