Rare 1940's River Queen Southern Antebellum Americana Barkcloth Vintage Fabric:

This offering is for a barely used washed remnant thick and nubby barkcloth that measures 36 inches wide x 26 inches long...featuring all kinds of scenes...the more you look the more you see...steamboats...log cabins...primitive life...cotton fields...spanish moss...the colors are fantastic...this panel has had very little use so the colors are smashingly vibrant...a jadeite green and gray ground...highly textured traditional weave barkcloth...true red...creamy pea lime...creamy lemon yellow...darkest grass green...dark and milk chocolate...dove gray that almost takes on a lavender gray...darkest teal green...clear pale blue tributaries that wander naturally through the villages...the colors and artistry of this historic time and place is remarkable...this document tells a story...past and present...and its romance and opinion is determined by who lived it...this memorable piece of history was washed to freshen it up. It is immaculate and for the museums...collectors.
