This rare Kodak wood crate from the 1950s is a true gem for collectors of vintage decorative items. The crate measures 16" in height and is 20" x 10". It has a sturdy wood block handle on each side to carry it. Almost in the original condition, the Kodak name is clearly stamped on both front and back of the crate. The stamping on the side is slightly faded but clearly able to be read. The crate was used to carry and store metallography plates. Below that is stamped develop before May 1955. There is also an ID or tracking number. Not sure what that it was for. The crate has a unique design and has a sturdy construction, this crate is perfect for storing small items or displaying on a shelf. The crate features the iconic Kodak logo and is in mint condition, free from any major scratches or marks. It has been lovingly cared and stored over 70 years and is from an estate sale.
