Description: Rare, one the first photogalvanic products. Published in a set called "Photographic art treasures". A view of Hampton Court on Thames.Photographer: Roger Fenton. Roger Fenton (1819-1869) was one of the early photographic pioneers in England. He became known with his photographs of the Crimean War. Paul Pretsch (1808-1873) originated from Austria. He pionered with the photogalvanographic process. Subject: Antique photograph, titled: 'Hampton Court on Thames.' - A view of Hampton Court on Thames.
Condition: Fair, given age. Small margins, some surface dirt and foxing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
