K98 Bolt, 8mm Mauser Original WWII Era K98 complete Bolt. Rare Very Early WWII German Mauser Werke, Oberndorf, Germany K98 K - date 1934 to G-date 1935 Transitional S/42K Bolt with the very early \"Box Style\" \" Pre-Waffenamt\" Inspection stamps \"Boxed /K155/\" on the bottom of the bolt stem (Please see Photos). Also, please note the small Weimar style eagle on the back of the bolt stem. This unique inspection stamp was used in the Mauser plant to stamp and accept rifle parts from the early S/42K 1934 K-date rifle production to the early S/42G 1935 G-date rifle production run. Reference: The excellent book: \"Karabiner 98K\" Volume 1 by Karem and Steves pages 238 to 239. Rare to run across a K-date/ transition to G-date period very early WWII Mauser K98 rifle bolt. This complete WWII production Mauser, Oberndorf Bolt is in very good used condition with the usual wear. Alot of the original blue finish still remains (Please see Photos). All the small parts are original WWII German production, but the small part numbers are not matching (Please see Photos). This bolt works beautifully in my WWII German Mauser rifle.
