FAMILLE VERTE CABBAGE & DRAGONFLIES & BUTTERFLIES RUFFLED VASE!
This collectible pattern depicts green Chinese cabbage leaves with white stems growing out from the base of the vase. Each leaf terminates as its own apex forming the ruffled 6 apex rim. Three of the leaves where the stem/petiole and the blade of the leaf meet, have 3 beautiful Butterflies enameled in magenta, yellow, white and black! The other three leaves at their apex feature 3 Dragonflies in enamels of magenta, yellow, and black! The mid-rib and veins are thickly painted in gilt enamel. The vase was painted to be distressed/aged...so the stems and mid-rib have both under and over glaze vintage marks and age spots. The white glaze inside the vase a few black and brown carbon specks. ..adding to the \"aged/distressed\" look of this vase. There\'s a gold decal on the bottom \"Andrea by Sadek\".

Condition
Item has some loss of distressed overglaze, a flake of raised end gilding near top of a leaf. This is not a crack, it is simply the raised gilded point and glaze. It is not sharp nor does it change the shape of this Iconic beautiful Antique vase. This may aswell be a glaze defect from the manufacturing process.
Size
This vase stands 10 1/4 inches in height. It\'s opening is about 5 inches across.
