LOT-GB08. For your consideration is an exceedingly rare and important c.1908-1917 imperial 14K gold and purple enamel guilloche pencil pendant by Faberge.

Two-tone yellow and rose gold mounted silver guilloché enamel pencil holder with workmaster hallmarks.

Oblong oval section, enameled in translucent purple over a wavy engine turned guilloché, with laurel-chased border, marked on suspension loop and gold pencil mount.

Hallmarked 56 for 14K imperial gold. Weight is 6.98 grams. Very clear, crisp, brilliant guilloche enamel. Amazing fire!

Faberge pencil measures approximately 75mm (length), including 14K gold suspension loop. Width is 7.0mm. Height is 5.0mm. Condition is original. A few minor blemishes, which are commensurate with age and prior use. Otherwise, excellent condition. Original lead pencil included. Museum quality. One of a kind.  Authentic and correct.
