Here is something that is quite uncommon: a geode that was split open to reveal positives and negatives of the fish Gosiutichthys parvus, from the ancient Lake Gosiute, Green River Formation, Wyoming. From the Eocene, about 50 million years old. Gosiutichthys was a \"cousin\" to Knightia, but only lived in Lake Gosiute, not Fossil Lake.
The geode measures about 5 inches on one side, and about 5.25 inches on the other. Both sides together weigh 2 lbs. 8 oz. Price is firm.
