Found at local estate is this Early 19th Century French Napoleonic period Mounted officers sword/saber. measures 38" long including handle. solid brass guard with leather handle, brass wire wrapped. blade measures 32". has regimental marks. the blade is in very good condition. minor rust spots. the handle is in great shape. no leather flaking or wear. the scabbard has some dings and dents. this Rare Antique French Sword will make a fine addition to your collection!!!happy buyer to pay shipping
