Poster published by Ski Country USA depicting a scene in Vail, Colorado circa 1965. There's a story behind this photograph of an antique fire engine making it's way along a Vail street, but I don't know what it is. The Casino Vail was not a gambling establishment. It was a dance hall and restaurant established in about 1965, just a short time after the town of Vail was laid out. The scene was taken directly from a photograph--it was printed out like a lithograph. It's not a dot pattern printing press print. It's on cardboard 23-1/4" x 19-5/8". The poster is rare.
