I am pleased to offer thisVery Rare Original VintageBlack and White Photograph that featuresthe actual famous Hindenburg airship in flight; notice the person in the lower right corner pointing upward towards it!Marked on back \"Hindenburg Over Customs House,\" datedOctober 1936. Light wearwith visiblestains from use and agethroughout;notice the white and blackmarks on the front from previous use. One side piece of the photo is missing. Image of airship is clear and present.

This is a very rare personal image of one of the Hindenburg\'s flights; a one of a kind photo!

Note: Named after the late President of Germany, Paul von Hindenburg, the LZ 129 Hindenburg was a large German commercial passenger airship, designed and built by the Zeppelin Company in Southern Germany. It was in operation from March 1936 until its destruction by fire justfourteen months later on May 6, 1937, while on a North American transatlantic journey on it second season.

Measurements: approx.4-1/2\" inches long x 3-1/4\" inches wide.
