A stunning full figure photograph with see-through dress and huge Parisian Marie Antoinette hair!! This rare vintage doubleweight photograph is hand signed by the actress and inscribed \"To Wm. Hepner in appreciation of his untiring effort to please, MAE MURRAY\".
WILLIAM HEPNER was a Hollywood wig maker to the stars.He was engaged in the manufacture and sale of wigs, cosmetics and beauty specialties, with stores in New York, Washington, D.C., and on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. Hepner died in February, 1932. This photo came from his estate and once hung in the office of his Los Angeles shop. This is an appropriate photo for a wig maker as it showcases Mae in a giant wig!
