This is a handmade ceramic trinket box that was manufactured in the United States in LA MANNA , PENNSYLVANIA.
It has a rare mottled color combination of copper, grey, and orange and is gilded with gold trim. Holley Ross mostly used 22K for their trim. The trinket box is a large round,decorative covered dish featuring a swirl finial atop the lid . It is made by HOLLEY ROSS Distinguished China, which is listed as permanently closed.
The dish has a depth of 1 1/2". Measures 1 3/4" without the lid 2 1/4" with the lid on The width is 6 1/4".
The dish is previously loved and shows wear along the trim, inside the lid, and a thin crack line inside the dish. The thin line does not go through the dish base and is not visible on the outside of the box , nor does it affect the use of the box.
