Rare Vintage 100-Blade Folding Knife 1890-1920, Blueler Zurich, MOPScales:

This exhibition piece is a 100-blade folding knife, made in the first quarter of the 20th century (1890-1920).

**My Opinion:** It was made by the Lang family in Germany for Blueler Zurich in Switzerland, or it may be a copy by them. It is likely related to Swiss Army Knives (SAK).

The knife features polished carbon steel blades, each serving a unique function, opening at both ends, with additional tools sliding out from the ends of each of the four sections of the highly figured mother of pearl grips. The scales are secured by four screws on each side and have nickel silver liners.

The main blade bears the Blueler Zurich logo on the tang.

The knife is in good condition; the blades have not been tampered with, and although I have not tried to open them, they appear to be in good shape. One scale has a crack.

Please note that the scales are made from two mother of pearl slabs: one from a single piece and the other from two pieces.

The knife measures 118 mm when folded and is 50 mm wide.
