This unique music jewelry box is a rare find for collectors of Japanese culture. Handmade in Japan, it features a stunning black lacquer finish with intricate hand-painted details of Mt. Please note this is old, and it does have some scuffs. It has missing paint. The lock mechanism is missing the drawers. The drawer handles are loose, but they do function. The mirror has some age spots on the edges and corners, and then threw out the whole thing it's disc Colored, but you can see yourself in the mirror. It appears to have the original velvet inlay which is blue. The music box does work. It is slow. It plays what we believe to be "love song".
