"Warrior-Liberator" - a monument to the Soviet soldiers who fell in the battles for Berlin at the war memorial in Treptow Park in Berlin. Sculptor E. V. Vuchetich, architect Ya. B. Belopolsky, artist A. A. Gorpenko, engineer S. S. Valerius. Opened May 8, 1949. Height - 13 meters. Weight - 70 tons. The Warrior-Liberator monument is a symbol of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and World War II and the liberation of the peoples of Europe from Nazism.
