Thanks for looking. This is a fantastic 1:1 scale replica of the infamous VC jungle workshop made pineapple. These were very commonly used during the Vietnam War, but originals are becoming very difficult to find. The head of this was cast from a real wartime example in black resin. All of the casting flaws and imperfections you see are historically accurate. Seeing as these were made in less than ideal situations (in jungle workshops) they were not too concerned about aesthetics. The handle is turned from wood, and stained an accurate color. It features a wooden end cap (non-removable) that is then dipped in black wax. Originals show evidence of this as well, as it would help waterproof the internals. To my knowledge, I am the only person reproducing this iconic item from the Vietnam War. Check out my other listings, and thanks for looking!
