Russian Lacquer Miniature Trinket Box

Beautiful hand painted hinged box by master artist S. Zotov titled \"Resting in the Hay\". This was purchased in August 2000 from a shop on a cruise ship. The box was presented by the Russian National Museum to the Ships Store. It is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks, or scratches. It measures 2 7/8\" x 1 3/4\" and is 1 1/4\" high. It is signed Fedoskino 2000 on one corner of the box and S. Zotov on the other.
