Thislively animation story drawing of Tinker Bell, Blaze, and the trollsGrimsley and Leech was created by Disney story artist John Pomeroy indevelopment of a scene in the animated film directed by Klay Hall.Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure is the second of thecomputer-animated Tinker Bell direct-to-DVD movies produced byDisneytoon Studios.

Thisoriginal is the work of famed animator John Pomeroy, who served as astory artist on the film. The artist wrote one of the Trolls' line ofdialogue in the bottom margin—"Troll #2: 'Gravel forBrains'."— and numbered the sheet "47" in the marginat lower right. John Pomeroy signed his original drawing on the backof the sheet.

Johnbegan working for the Disney Studios in 1973 as a background artistand became a full time animator in 1974. He quickly moved up thecorporate ladder to become a producer & screen writer onseveral animated features. Pomeroy briefly left Disney in 1979 tobecome the lead animatorin the hit feature 'The Secret of Nimh'. He then returned to Disneyto work as the Supervising Animator on 'Pochahontas' and severalother films.

Johnis also a talented sculptor, creating busts that film artists use tovisualize a 3-D model of their character. Additionally he is anacknowledged master painter of historic events and even buildshistoric weapons that have been used in movies.

Mr. Pomeroy is currently on the Elders Board of the Village Christian School inSun Valley, California.
