Rare and difficult to find complete matching set of all three Skylab medals with proof-like surfaces and frosted cameo devices.

Each medal measures 1 1/2 inches (38 mm) and weighs .7 oz or 20 grams. Edge is stamped: .999 and Made In Canada.

The Skylab I obverse shows it in orbit with portraits of Astronauts Pete Conrad, Paul Weitz and Joe Kerwin in the background. It says: MANNED FLIGHT AWARENESS and AMERICA’S FIRST EARTH-ORBITING SKYLAB. The reverse shows Skylab again with: SKYLAB I and CONRAD, KERWIN, and WEITZ on the outside.

The Skylab 2 obverse shows portraits of the Astronauts: Alan L. Bean, Owen K. Garriott, and Jack R. Lousma. The reverse shows a portrait of “Mankind” with outstretched arms. It says: SKYLAB II with BEAN, GARRIOTT, and LOUSMA on the outside.

The obverse of Skylab 3 shows it orbiting the Earth with portraits of the Astronauts: Gerald P. “Jerry” Carr, Edward G. Gibson, and William R. Pogue. The reverse depicts the mission insignia with three vignettes characterizing mission goals. It says: SKYLAB (3) with CARR - GIBSON - POGUE at the bottom.

These medals do not come with box or COA.
