with ENGRAVING ST. CLAUDE OF BESANÇON

Antique, 18th Century, Portuguese Nun\'s work \"Registo\" Reliquary with Engraving, protected by glass, depicting St. Claude of Besançon. Frame lined with silk and metallic thread trims and hoop on top so it can hang.In its original condition. Please note bits of wax on the frame - see photos

These works were made and soldby the Nuns as a means of earning money for the Convents
