BEAUTIFUL PAIR OF SPLIT REINS WITH MATCHING STERLING SILVER BUCKLES, KEEPERS, and TIPS
THE BUCKLES ARE IN FANTASTIC VINTAGE CONDITION, THERE ARE NO DENTS, DINGS, OR SCRATCHES IN THE METAL. ALL PIECES ARE SECURLY STITCHED / ATTACHED / SEWN IN THE LEATHER REINS. NO CHICAGO SCREWS! ENGRAVING IS REALLY DETAILED AND UNIQUE. THE LEATHER SPLIT REINS ARE SOFT AND SUPPLE. THE SURFACE OF THE LEATHER HAS LOST SOME OF IT\'S LUSTRE FROM USE. HOWEVER, VERY GOOD CONDITION CONSIDERING THE AGE.
THESE BUCKLES WOULD ALSO LOOK GREAT ON A PAIR OF SPUR STRAPS, RANGER BELT BUCKLES, HEADSTALL ETC...
The SILVER is marked STERLING... MEXICO.... THE MAKERS MARK IS HARD TO READ. I THINK THAT IT IS VOGT AS THEY CAME WITH A VOGT BRIDLE THAT THEY MATCHED. (the matching bridle has been sold)The buckles polished up easily and are in great working condition with no flaws noted.

- The buckles measure at 1 1/4\" x 1 1/4\"
- Leather width 1/2\" at buckle, increasing to 3/4\"
