Rare Vintage ZIPPO Lighter WINSTON Handilite The Hunt Continues ONLY 50 MADE NEW
BRAND NEVER STRUCK WITH ORANGE SAFETYSEAL. This is absolutely one of my prized treasures I have collected over the years. This lighter was made by the owners of Winston, the beloved Lighter Hound. Winston was at all the Zippo Swap Meets from the start and would come with his owners sporting a very special hairdo each year which was as you see and perfectly done shaved zippo area on his side. He celebrated with us every year. I was just starting to collect zippos and learning about them from my parents that went to these........\"strange meets\" every few years. The Zippo Dog \"Winston\" was my favorite attraction. The owners told me this lighter was designed from one of the photos I took and gave to them. They did two commemorative lighters, both handilites. One in 1999 and one in 2000. This is the 2000 version. Each of the two years they did 50. To my knowledge t has never been any other lighter done to commemorate Winston. Winston was a wonderful dog and loved being at the Swap Meet and all the attention he would get. He was a darling and sweet dog. I am selling my Winstons to pay for medical treatmentfor my dog. stunning and unique. I have never seen another Winston on e-bay and it has never been lit. It is mint in box and not missing any paint and the detail is supurb. The body is brushed chrome with high polish chrome sides and base. See pictures. This is an adorable dog zippo and Winston was a cocker Spaniel. I won\'t ever be able to replace this and you won\'t find another I am sure. So if you are looking for a real collectible with a unique zippo history this is the special piece for your collection. I want it to go to a new good home that will appreciate it like I have.
