Sapphire Corundum Crystal, Laurel Creek Corundum Mine, Pine Mt. Rabun Co, GA. Shipped with USPS First Class. Weight is 200 Grams. This came out of an old collection. These crystals are Rare. Ive rockhounded Pine Mt in search of corrundum a good bit and never found anything that was blue. This mine was known for its blue Corundum. If theres another one out there I have not been able to locate it after exhaustive searches and exploring as well. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning this crystal and showing it off for the last 10 years. When I purchased this collection that crystal was the highlight of the purchase and started an exciting hunt to locate this Laurel Creek Mine. What a blast ive had exploring Rabun County Ga and camping at Sarahs Creek and in Highlands while exploring. Lots of memories have been made with the family because of this crystal.
