Giants Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in East Rutherford, New Jersey in the Meadowlands Sports Complex. It primarily serves as the home stadium for the New York Giants and New York Jets American football teams of the NFL, and the New York Red Bulls soccer team of MLS. Maximum seating capacity is 78,741, making it the second-largest NFL stadium behind FedEx Field. It is also the ninth-oldest stadium used by an NFL team. Giants Stadium will be closed and demolished in 2010 when the new Meadowlands Stadium opens.
