Truly from the early mid-century modern era, these towels offer bright, bold colors for your kitchen. Each towel measures 28\" long by 17.5\" wide. Referred to as tea towels for the ladies of Victorian England that used them for their tea services to avoid breakage by careless servants.One of these is a unique appliqued design complimented with hand embroidery and the other is silk screened and each have a color-coordinated fabric hem.
The items I sell belonged to my mother (1917-1987) and grandmother (1900-1997) and were passed down to me. They are not new but lived a previous life where they were rarely used and always handled with loving care.
