Set of 4 Antique RS Germany White/Pink Rose Berry Fruit Bowls Beaded Edge 5":

This listing is for a set of 4 antique berry bowls made by RS Germany in the early 20th century. They are relatively shallow bowls featuring hand-painted white/pink rose designs on a green and ivory background. The edges are embossed (beaded) with exquisite detail. Note, I have two other lots for sale that match these bowls: a pair of larger soup bowls (item #296087942892) and a scalloped bread plate (item #296087972301), and will combine shipping if you purchase multiple items.
These bowls have the older blue "RS Germany" mark encircled by a wreath beneath a five-pointed star. This came into use around 1910 when Arnold Schlegelmilch started a factory in Tillowitz (then Germany, now in Poland). He learned his trade from his father,Reinhold Schlegelmilch, who began making porcelain in the 19th century.
Measurements: Each bowl is 5.25" wide, 1.25" tall, and weighs 3 ounces.
Condition: These are antique items so there is minor finish wear due to age, but no chips or cracks noted. The 4th bowl does have a black mark on the underside that I haven't been able to clean off. Please view all photos.
