He was selected as Science Pilot for Skylab 4,the final mission of the Skylab program.Gibson, along with Astronauts Bill Pogue and Commander Jerry Carr, spent84 days in Skylab from November 6th, 1973, to February 8, 1974. Itwould be his only spaceflight. Gibson isthe only surviving member of the Skylab 4 mission. Item forsale is an 8 x 10” photograph of Gibson conducting one of his three EVAs onthe Skylab station.
