Three Slabs of PETRIFIED SWAMP CYPRESS WOOD from Yakima Swamp Habitat WA State. A). Very solid slab of Petrified Swamp Cypress Wood. Unpolished but ready for Lapidary shining and the Edges are perfect. Natural replacement Bark Patterns are perfect. Holes on both sides are a Natural architectural structure of Chalcedony replacement. Excellent specimen with no chips, cracks or distractions. Measures about 5 in x 4.5 in x 5/8 inches thick and weighs 12.5 ounces. Source is Yakima Swamp Habitat, Yakima Valley, WASHINGTON STATE, USA! B). Another very solid slab of Petrified Swamp Cypress Wood that was cut from the same Limb Cast as A above. Unpolished but ready for Lapidary Polishing that would make this specimen more attractive. Edges are perfect and have perfectly Natural replacement Bark Patterns. Holes on both sides are from Natural architecture and structure of Chalcedony replacement. Excellent specimen of Petrified Swamp Cypress Wood with no cracks, chips or distractions. Measures about 5.25 in x 4.75 in x 3/4 inch thick and weighs 15.6 ounces. Solid piece with two hair line cracks on FACE both about 30 millimeters and not threatening. Looks like about a third was broken off from original slab long ago but still looks Awesome!
