Description:This sale is for the Stanley # 3 C Corrugated Bottom Smooth Plane pictured. This is a very nice type 14 No. 3 C size smooth plane that dates from 1920 - 1930 only according to the Roger Smith type study in John Walters Stanley price guide. Beautiful Rosewood handle and knob. 95% or so original japanning, Proper full length Sweetheart era cutter. Note how it is marked Made in USA running alongside the handle in the bed of the body. The plane has a nice even patina with no pitting or other issues. No issues, cracks. chips, other damage. No apologies, just normal typical light wear.
